Will I be able to manage the automations myself after they are built?
This depends on the complexity of what is being built as well as your overall technical comfort. Some business automation tasks require custom connectors while others are very straightforward. We will go over your ongoing support options with you at the beginning of the engagement.
What do we need to get started?
Aside from a Microsoft 365 license that supports your Microsoft Flows, you will need to start with your overall business requirements. We can lead those conversations or if you already have them, great! If your flow is going to connect to other applications, we will also need credentials to access them.

Power Automate vs Zapier: which should we use?
If your team already lives in Microsoft 365, Power Automate is usually the better fit. It’s included with many Microsoft 365 licenses, works natively with SharePoint, Teams and Outlook, and follows your existing security and admin controls. Zapier is easy to start with, but costs can add up and it sits outside your Microsoft governance. We’re happy to look at what you have and tell you honestly.
What’s the difference between cloud flows and desktop flows?
Cloud flows connect online services like SharePoint, Outlook and Salesforce through connectors and run in the background. Desktop flows automate apps on a Windows machine by clicking and typing like a person, which helps with older systems that have no connector. Many projects use both. Power Automate was called Microsoft Flow until 2019, which is why many people still call cloud flows “Flows.”
Do you build custom connectors?
Yes. If your software has an API, we can build a custom connector so Power Automate can talk to it like any other app.
Can Power Automate work with Power Apps and SharePoint together?
Yes, and that’s where it shines. A common setup is a Power Apps form, a SharePoint list or Dataverse to store the data, and Power Automate handling the approvals, alerts and updates.
