Their Needs
Construction company needed a streamlined way to record and report on-the-job injuries across the country. They needed the ability to have multiple users to enter data simultaneously as well as have access to real-time data.
What We Did: Custom Excel Access Dashboard Tool
Microsoft Excel was used as the front-end for the application to deliver 8-pack dashboard that would allow management to quickly view and snapshot various date ranges and parameters for injury reporting. This is used company-wide at the national level. The back-end Access database sits on a shared network drive and the front-end Excel application is deployed locally to desktops or tablets for use on their network. A cloud/SQL upgrade is the next step for this application so it can used remotely.
